But then a site member said that before his account was suspended, the video was removed due to 'terms of use violation'. wtf? o_O

Since YouTube has millions of videos, the mods don't have time to sort through every one. LK was most likely banned by a bunch of trolls with zombie accounts on the website reporting him. Unless Google implements a better ban system, he's just going to keep getting banned. |

I, along with a great number of you're regular users, am very displeased with you're staff's response to a video submission made by said username. His proposal video, nor any video previously, has not in any way broken any copyright, rule, regulation, or law. If you wish to have any further support from me or any other member outraged by this sudden and unfounded suspension of "LittleKuriboh"s account, I require that his account be restored completely to no less than its original status immediately.

| #28 Posted 1 year ago | Reply | I can't say that I'm surprised that his account got suspended again, but over flagging for an actual 100% original, not in any way copyright violating video is just absurd. What YouTube should be doing is having a flagging system that REQUIRES that the flagger fill out a detailed form stating all the reasons why said video is inappropriate and then those petitions have to be reviewed by a real human being. Yes, that takes time and money but YouTube is repeatedly shooting itself in the foot with the lazy system it has now.
How much bad press do they want?
My heartfelt condolencenses to LittleKuriboh over this travesty. Someone with an axe to grind is out there using the anonymity of the internet to grief. I expect the account to be reinstated but the very fact that this happened is a reflection of the pure malice some people have. |
