DeltaSceptile #2   Posted 1 year ago Reply In case you haven't heard, some of the jokes I used were from Pikawho?, an infamous user on pokemongamer.com. So give him all the credit. (he is also a friend of mine who isn't too far away from my house like Silverknux91 and some other users are.)

In the original Yu-Gi-Oh series though, there are loads of really interesting themes that would make for some super-hot discussions. • Good vs Evil There's kind of a world within a world here. While Yugi is battling all the baddies, there's also characters like Bakura who have good and evil sides. In the manga, when Yami first appears, even though all the baddies (Ushio etc) get their comeuppances, it's hard to tell whether Yami is good or evil. He seems to used dubious methods to exact his revenge...? • Forgiveness / Revenge Yami's often heard to say in the manga "I won't forgive you" (which always scares the crap out of me). However, Kaiba is given a second chance after Yugi defeats him at Death-T. • Possession? Some other spirit entering your body must be pretty weird and scary for anyone. Yugi has to discover who the "other" spirit is within him and discern what his "other self"'s characteristics are. The "two-sided" personality thing is really interesting, it's intriguing to see how Yugi and Yami get on within the one mind. • Personal Transformation I really like the bits later on when Yugi and Yami are discussing together, and Yugi finds out that he made friends with Joey because of who little Yugi is, not (as he previously thought) because of the Millennium Puzzle. Both little Yugi and Yami go through some personal growth (... not just puberty then? ) • Friendship, loyalty etc A perennial discussion favourite... Friendship and loyalty during adversity, also closeness of friendship even when the actual people aren't near one another. • Previous lives mirroring contemporary lives The Millennium World stuff is really interesting, as it shows a mirror of all the contemporary world characters in their Egyptian setting. There's some similar stuff in the Bible when history seems to "repeat itself", sometimes in the form of people making the same mistakes as folk long ago, or things that Jesus doing/saying mirroring and then fulfilling Old Testament prophecy. Oh yeah! And what about where people say (Yugi, that weird Egyptian Kaiba's Dad... Bob?) "I made a wish on the Millennium Whatever Item"? In the Japanese (I heard) it says "I prayed to the Millennium Item". There's a sort of answer-to-prayer/prophecy crossover. And although the prayer is always answered, it isn't always answered as the person might expect... Any more good ones? Oh man.... Sorry for the super-long post.

XD To be honest, I was surprised when I saw that you were using those jokes...XD Ummm...I'm fine with the cussing. I mean, lk didn't have the characters cuss every sentence and he censored the more "serious" words. Taking the Lord's name in vain: alot of people in the world do that so really I don't care. I only care if it's a Christian(sometimes me...) using the Lord's name in vain. Off-color jokes were borderline. Some of them were meh-ish. Some of them the series could've done without.(I laughed but not fully....) Edit: What do you mean my avatar isn't coming up?! *jumps off cliff*
