| #303 Posted 3 months ago, in reply to post #302 by heroocean | Reply | Yeah, if Batman were a drag queen with a penchant for baby blue and bubble guns.
(I seriously don't get people who insist Bubbleman is supposed to be Batman. It's not like Batman is the only person to have a cowl, which is the ONLY part of Bubbleman that resembles Batman in any way.) |

| #304 Posted 3 months ago | Reply | | Don't forget the spell card that has bubbleman wearing a top hat and a magic wand. |

| #305 Posted 3 months ago | Reply | I can't think of where else to ask this question.
I got a Dark Valkyria card recently, and I have no idea how to use its effect.
"This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it be treated as an Effect Monster with this effect:
● One time only, you can place 1 Spell Counter on this card. This card gains 300 ATK for each Spell Counter on it. You can remove 1 Spell Counter from this card to destroy 1 monster on the field."
How can I normal summon it if it's face up on the field, or does it mean that I have to have two copies of the card in my deck for it to work? I mean mostly if they have an effect like that they say "another Dark Valkyria" or something. So how the hell do I use this card? |

| #306 Posted 3 months ago | Reply | Gemini monsters are treated as normal monsters at all times. BUT...during your next turn, you can choose to "re-summon" it instead of summoning a monster from your hand, which would turn her into an effect monster with the effect described on the card.
Gemini monsters sound tricky with their effects like that, but it's really quite simple. |
| #307 Posted 3 months ago | Reply | | Oh... well that's kind of annoying. But it's a good effect, even if I can only use it once. |
| #308 Posted 3 months ago | Reply | | No, the effect stays on as long as the monster stays on the field. You only have to do the Gemini re-summon once, and the effect is permanent. Well, it's one time only in the case of your dark valkyria, but most other Gemini monsters have constant/re-usable effects, like Il Blud and Neos Alius. |

| #309 Posted 3 months ago | Reply | And Cthonian Emperor Dragon, i just like him. Hehehe.
My Favourite card remains Yubel, just this time, Terror Incarnate. |

| #313 Posted 2 months ago | Reply | | Well, it doesn't seem like they're modeled after SPECIFIC ones, but they do seem to be of the classic comic-book super hero style. They also have a bit of a 'Power-rangers' theme going, with all of those fusions. |

| #315 Posted 2 months ago | Reply | You did, you read it here, just now. Anyways, I was looking over new cards, and I want to know what you all think about these new Synchro Monsters? Also, I never noticed until just now that there are also new "Psychic-type" monsters as well.
| #316 Posted 2 months ago | Reply | | The sychro monsters are cool, and so far, my favourite synchro is stardust dragon. |
| #317 Posted 2 months ago | Reply | Well yeah, cuz it's the most powerful one out so far. I was more just curious about what you thought about the introduction of a Fifth type of monster color. (Normal, Effect, Fusion, Ritual, Synchro)

| #318 Posted 2 months ago, in reply to post #315 by Senaro | Reply | | The physics look like a good type. |
| #319 Posted 2 months ago | Reply | | i honestly don't care so much for the new synchro monsters and such... |
| #320 Posted 2 months ago | Reply | | Same here. In my eyes, we could do without them. I actually don't know anything about any of the new cards from these last two or three booster packs that came out this year. I stopped buying packs awhile back and get what I can through trading or just playing the DS games. |

| #321 Posted 2 months ago, in reply to post #320 by Senaro | Reply | | yeah i do the same thing. i hate to say it but imo, they (the guys making the new yugioh cards and ban list rules) have kinda ruined the traditional gameplay of yugioh....which is a shame since that's the way i think the game should be played... |

| #322 Posted 2 months ago | Reply | Don't laugh.
My favorite card is... Mokey Mokey.
He's always been my favorite... ever since he came out. I just like him.
He is an outcast angel.
No one knows what he is thinking.
Sometimes he gets mad...
And that is dreadful.
At least, I think that's the flavor text. I've been working so hard on project: Mokey for so long. It was a secret project for me to make a deck that can win with him. Granted, I do not expect to win all the time... but maybe half.
I have not yet suceeded...
And that is dreadful. |

| #323 Posted 2 months ago | Reply | | I won't laugh, Mokey Mokey has some really good moments if you play it right. Especially with cards like Mokey Mokey Smackdown, Replacement Soldier, and Human Wave Tactics along with a bunch of weak fairies to power the smackdown. |
| #324 Posted 2 months ago, in reply to post #323 by Senaro | Reply | Indeed, now all I must do is figure out how to scatter these "Mokey Moments" all about the match.
Also, what's replacement soldier?
And, yeah. Another good card for that deck is spirit barrier. As long as a monster exists on my side of the field, I take no battle damage. I need to get back onto the Mokey road again. It has been a while since I've improved the mokey deck. I don't even know where it is any more.
Back on topic, another favorite of mine is Marshmallon. Not only do I like the actual monster, (As I like Mokey Mokey) but it also has a great effect! When I rebuild my burn deck... he's going straight in there.
Also, Ultimate Baseball Kid. That card reminds me of the first successful deck I've ever made.
My burn deck, which I had to kill for cards for my other decks.
I have, like, 6.
Just call me the ADD duelest. |
| #325 Posted 2 months ago | Reply | I was thinking about it, and I said "Replacement Soldier" when I MEANT to say "Backup Soldier." It's a bit of an old card, and it's mostly used in Exodia decks nowadays, but I still like to use it in decks with a good amount of Normal Monsters. For your burn, I'd also reccomend Spirit Reaper and a few Solar Flare Dragons.
Ultimate Baseball Kid is awesome ^.^ I have roughly 8 active decks right now, my Beatdown (full of my most favorite monsters), my E-Hero, my D-Hero, and Earth, and Exodia, Water, Cosmos/Out of Play, my "Bright and Shiny" Machine/union deck, and I'm trying to make a deck that focuses on D-Hero Diamond Dude that's loaded with spell cards like Ojama Delta Trio and Des Croaking, since DD's effect lets him activate them without paying their costs.

| #326 Posted 2 months ago | Reply | Monsters: D-Human, Blue Eyes, and Gilford the Lightning
Spells: Future Fusion
Trap: Shadow Spell
And of course the Ultra Mega Chicken(TWDOR) |

| #327 Posted 2 months ago | Reply | | In Yugioh WC 2008, I actually have Slifer the Executive Producer in my deck. I don't get to use it often, and my deck doesn't actually support it well, but it works. (I replaced my Mega Ultra Chicken with it, ehe) |
