But out of that limited experience I'd say Lufia 2 is my least favorite because the ending pissed me off. |

Mass Effect had godawful friendly AI and that ruined the whole thing for me, plus elevators. In the time it takes to ride all the elevators in the game, I could have:
Read War & Peace
Written a 4-page report on War & Peace
Watched Godfather Part II
and still have time to write about how much it sucked.
I liked the Converstation trees though, now if only it was applied to a good game... |

On topic, the worst RPG I've played was this really cheap game on Gamecube. I totally forgot the name but it was about some guy with a giant hand in a bracelet or some shit. I don't even know. |

The story itself was good, and hell the name itself had meaning to it, the music is awesome and the leveling system was good, so.............ya I don't like this game. I don't like shooters in general but it is still good.
KOTOR is great, the system isn't slow, I don't know why you say that, unless YOU personally sat there in freeze mode before you chose anything it was a constant go. |

I liked it for the story and thats one of the main reasons I played the game. I also bought the game thinking you could make a different race kind of Jedi, but I was wrong. When I played KOTOR 2 I usually thought of my character as a mandalorian since I got along well with the mandalorians. |

I mean there were two modes in combat. real time or the pause mode, and pause mdoe just froze it while you chose your move, so either way it reall ycouldn't be slow, unless you left it in pause mode and took forever to choose. |

I mean most the time you don't feel like changing the gambit and they heal away ALL mana or don't heal when you need >_>
and it's much more boring in general.
The only thing bad with Kotor is that you can't dodge attack by running away. |

| #24 Posted 2 months ago | Reply | Kingdom Hearts. Honestly I have no idea why either of the games were popular apart from the fact that they were a fanboy/girl wet dream.
The story sucked, the characters sucked (or sucked worse depending how shit they were in the first place) and the combat was obviously meant to be fast paced but just came across as terribly unintuitive and button mashing.
I'm sure there are much worse if I wanted to trawl back through my memory more, but that's the one that comes to mind when I first think of shitty RPGs.
Maybe the fact that Haley Joel Osment did the main characters voice did some of that as well, or maybe they were actually trying to make a plattformer with RPG elements, but whatever the reason it just sucked ass and I tried my best to like it.
Also Mass Effect had a lot of problems but thankfully they fixed the majority of them for the PC release. |

My favorite is Dragon quest 8 or (Dont get pissed off) Pokemon Red on the gameboy |
