Everything else is above-average really. I like the plot, but the characters are just so "here-we-go-again." (Outside of Beat, holy shit on a cunt-ass he's bitching.) We got the strangely-dressed characters, most of which sexual-fiction bait. (I can see Shiki's crotch and Neku is just begging to be yaoi-laid by everyone and their Taboo form.) The story is nice but the interaction you have in it is just horrible. (Go there, go there, go there, fight, go there...) And I'm still just left wondering why the hell every JRPG, or any Japanese-based game, needs to make every character look so retarded. I know Japan is weird but no one wears useless headphones and has some sort of jacket that goes up to their mouth.
And the battle system is nice but it sucks when you die because the touch screen won't register your scribble or it registers your "running to this location" as a "swipe here and activate dragon-icicles."
Edit: Oh and me and Omega can't be the only ones that get this game mixed up with No More Heroes. SO many similarities it's kind of weird. |

Beat was pretty awesome, yeah. Shiki's clothing always annoyed me, I very much preferred the clothing she was wearing at the end of the game. She actually looked NORMAL. |

I'm not really sure how I would rank No More Heroes on my list, but it WAS pretty fun, and the story concept was nice and simple. |

Yes, Shiki's clothing annoyed me too.
Her regular clothes were way more likeable. I wish she had looked like that in the game.
If she had, I'd probably had liked her more.

Finally, that laugh makes sense... O-o
This game is like crack in a little black box that you touch a lot...
So yeah, like crack... (not funny, I know)
I'm not amazing at it, I find some difficulty, especially with Panthera Cantus... until I got Joshua's lvl3 Fusion. It's... too... strong...
And that pig that attacks you annoyed me to death >.>
Not a perfect game, but I do absolutely love it. 9.9/10.

| #50 Posted 3 months ago | Reply | Just finished my first time thougth the game and it is the best Ds games i have ever played and its in my top 10 games going after all the extras now, loved it even thought some conversation dragged it didn't bother because the story was amazing and the battle system was great, also heavy i think if you hold L or R it blocks pins makeing moving easier.
Ordered some of the pins off ebay because i love it that much! |
