Hip-Hop is also a sub-genre of rock if you break it down to its rawest of components. |

Also, it depends who's playing
If it's Beastie Boys or Snoop Dogg, I say Rap
If it's Timbaland or 50 Cent, I say Rock.
If it's Soundgarden or Weezer....or KISS, Rock
If it's Linkin Park, Fallout boy, or Boston, I say Rap.
In my opinion, it's not genre, it's if they sound good. That's all I care about. |

Sounds like prostitution to me.
Don't get me wrong, i can't stand hip-hop, but that's just my style. I haven't listened to a lot of rap-artists or stuff like that, but i doubt that ALL of them have stupid lyrics. |

| #47 Posted 1 month ago | Reply | | The way mainstream rock has been going over the last decade I would easily choose Hip Hop, at least underground hip hop. groups like the Living Legends, The Perceptionists, People Under The Stairs and Hieroglyphics have much more to say than the bland garbage being produced by major labels |
