What's your favorite album/song, are you a gilmore or barret fan, what's your least favorite album/song?

To start things off, I'd say meddle is the best, and i like gilmore, i'm not a huge fan of division bell though

I haven't heard any of their "psychedelic stuff" (I do plan on getting Meddle) but all four albums I have (Animals, TSOFTM, The Wall and WYWH) are four of the greatest albums ever touched by the hand of God

I'm more of a Gilmour guy, my favorite album is probably either Wish You Were Here or The Wall. My favorite song is Comfortably Numb. Shine On You Crazy Diamond comes in at a close second.

I'd say Animals sits at the top of my list of their best albums. It is a truuuee classic.

Ah, Pink Floyd. How do I love thee? Let me list the ways...
I'm a complete Syd fanatic, so the psychedelic era sits well with me. The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, A Saucerful of Secrets, Music from the Film More, Ummagumma, all good albums despite some strangeness.
Atom Heart Mother, while a bit difficult to hear the first time around due to length (20-30 seconds longer than Echoes), is a brilliant tune, and the rest of the album has a good summer feeling to it.
Meddle is more Roger era, though it's on the very edge. Sort of a "bridge album", I guess.
DSotM is indeed a very good album, but it's overplayed.
Wish You Were Here was the first one I encountered. Brilliant, and a bit haunting.
I don't listen to Animals enough, I really should, it's one of the good ones.
Love The Wall; love the album, love the performances, love the movie, love What Shall We Do Now? and Comfortably Numb.
The Final Cut is quite possibly the most underrated Floyd album out there. Think of it as The Wall Disk 3. Good listen for you Cold War fanatics.
A Momentary Lapse of Reason is a very cool album, very wintry sounding, and it's the closest thing you can get to a David solo album and still have the name Pink Floyd. That doesn't stop it from being a cool album.
The Division Bell is thought provoking, and features some of my favorite David era gems, such as Marooned, High Hopes, and Keep Talking. Also, still working on the Publius Enigma if anyone's interested.
If you were lucky enough to hear the first two singles that made Floyd big in Britain (Arnold Layne and See Emily Play), you'll know that they are the pinnacle of psychedelic rock, and important keystones in the development of modern music as a whole. Find them, along with some other rare-ish tracks, on Relics.
I still haven't heard Obscured By Clouds, minus maybe one tune.
They're my all-time favorite band, tying with Metallica.

From lime and lympid green
Little by little, the night turns around
In a churchyard, by the river
Something else
Throw your thoughts back many years to the time when there was life with every morning
Pick your feet up off the ground
And no one makes me close my eyes
And everything under the sun is in tune
Blown on the steel breeze
Things are not what they seem
The child is grown, the dream is gone
The pie in the sky turned out to be miles too high
And a silence that speaks so much louder than words
To the endless river, forever and ever.

I don't like their psychadelic stuff, like P.A.T.G.O.D., but the Wall and Dark Side of the Moon were great albums, and the Division Bell is my all time favorite.
