| #1 Posted 1 year ago | Reply | I dont think anyone started a topic about this yet so i will...
On Wednesday about 12 o'clock a mentally sick person went insane and killed 8 people, including the principle of the school.
This was very tragic since nothing this serious has ever happened here in finland, and no one expected it...
You can probably guess that im from finland, since im writing this topic, and it was only about 20 kilometers from my house.
Many people were shocked and still are, the school day wasnt normal at all, both teachers and students were depressed and didnt act normal at all.
I started this topic to show our respect for the people who passed away...
Feel free to reply what you think about this. |

I read in an article that, before the shooting, he declared that the shooting would be his fault alone; it shouldn't be blamed on violent video games, or movies, or books. |

| #4 Posted 1 year ago, in reply to post #3 by OverMind | Reply | That definitely a message worth noting. He actually proved, though through horribly wrong methods, that such violence is attributed to the PERSON and not the UPBRINGING.
However, this same insanity will be the reason everything he tried to portray will be ignored (I'm in no way glorifying his twisted methods). It seems with his own twisted logic he came to such an irrational conclusion to gun down 8 people to portray this idea... |

| #5 Posted 1 year ago | Reply | I'm from Norway, and on our school paid our respect to those who have fallen in this accident, all students had 1 minute silence.
Our teacher said he had put out a post that he was going to do...you know...on a video at youtube. And at this moment, as this event greives me, I will once more pay my respect with 1 minutes silence. |

| #7 Posted 1 year ago | Reply | yeah the person actually planned this long before he acted, he wrote both in english and finnish reasons why he does this, about his life and when and how he will do it...
that person was seriously sick... even thou he was smart in school... he liked the suffering of other people, and rumours say he was a nazi (typical retarded nazis).
I hope nothing like this will happen in a long time, since we cant do anything to stop the nazis from destroying everything...
Even if i dont believe in god, I hope the students will have an after life, since its so sad that they had to die so young :( |

| #8 Posted 1 year ago | Reply | True, they did not deserve to die so young, they had their whole lives ahead of them.
I really have a lump in my throat now... |
