For me, Batman Begins. I heard that Chris Nolan showed a screening of Blade Runner (Harrison Ford, also a really good movie based off the book 1984, a really good book, in my opinon.) and based the settings off that.
I couldn't take Batman & Robin seriously...xD And I personally don't think Michael Keaton is good looking enough to be Batman...Plus...When he was Beetlejuice...I can't take him seriously anymore. xD

But with Heath Ledger as the Joker and The Dark Night coming out exactly one year from today (July 18th) I'm a little iffy. I read that he wont be as eccentric and more sinister in the sequel which is getting me a bit....nervous you could say?

What do you think?
Who is your favorite Batman/Batman Villain?

Batman Begins is my favorite movie ever, followed by the 1989 Batman. Mask of the Phantasm is up there. Batman Returns is somewhat far down the list, and the others aren't even on the radar.

Definitely Batman Begins. I haven't watched the Keaton movies many times, Batman Forever and Batman and Robin are too bad to describe in words. I am looking foward to The Dark Knight.

Batman Begins, trailed by Batman Returns.

The Dark Knight will be...interesting, to say the least. (Bring back the Scarecrow!)

You know, it's not suprising people don't like 'Batman & Robin' because, well, it's thumbs down in Halliwell.

Also, has anybody seen the Adam West version of Batman? It's actually a comedy.

Was it intended to be a comedy? I love Adam West in Family Guy...xD

Jack Nicholson is such a beast. Heath Ledger has a hell of a performance to give to make Batman fans happy.

Batman Begins was my favorite. But I saw the other ones so long ago that I can't even remember what they were about.

I've watched the various Batman movies ever since I was young, and...I gotta agree with the majority. Batman Begins was the best so far, Christian Bale perfectly captured Bruce Wayne. I can't wait for The Dark Knight, I'm thinking Heath Ledger may be able to pull off his role even though he pretty much falls in the shadow of Jack Nicholson. The Joker is supposed to be sinster and slightly eccentric, I'm sure he'll have a hint of that in there...but remember the Joker killed Jason Todd...

" Riddle me this riddle me that , Who's afraid of the big black bat." XDD love love that movie. I dunno Batman Begins ....ehh wasnt my cup of tea, i miss the batmobile and i didnt like Cristian Bale too much he seemed a little forced. As for The Dark Night im sooooo looking foward to it. The Joker has been my favorite villian since I first started watching Batman way back when XD loll I love Heath but i really hope he doesnt screw up the character for me. T-T

The Joker may have killed Jason Todd but remember it was the people who decided whether he should have lived or died.

The original 2 first movies with Michael Keaton (oh where has your career gone since then...), Batman Begins and if I may from the animation world, Batman: Return of the Joker and Batman: Mask of the Phantasm.

Yes I'm aware they had a poll, but even after that poll...it made an impact on the character/plot there on after and for consistency's sake...the Joker should follow through with being sinister over eccentric. Remember he's supposed to have some psychological problems...

.... have you even read 1984?

It's based on a Phil K. Dick book.

I liked Batman forever, some call it the best batman film ever, I don't agree, but Jim Carrey as the Riddler (a fantastic performance, and totally off the wall behaviour that you'd expect from the Carrey man) and Tommy Lee Jones as Two-face ("It's me...and me!") were a great team up of villains.

Like everyone I loathe Batman and Robin, but I remeber thinking that George Clooney had the potential to be the best Batman. He had the sort of voice and attitude similar to Adam West, but was obviously less camp. Shame he got cast into such a rubbish movie and had a suit with nipples.

Blade Runner (Harrison Ford, also a really good movie based off the book 1984, a really good book, in my opinon.)
It's based on Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep.

And my favorite Batman movie hands down is Batman: The Movie. A 1966 movie based on the ABC series. It features such gems as:

Batman: Some days you just can't get rid of a bomb!

Commissioner Gordon: It could be any one of them... But which one? Which ones?
Batman: Pretty *fishy* what happened to me on that ladder...
Commissioner Gordon: You mean where there's a fish there could be a penguin?
Robin: But wait! It happened at sea... Sea. C for Catwoman!
Batman: Yet, an exploding shark *was* pulling my leg...
Commissioner Gordon: The Joker!
Chief O'Hara: All adds up to a sinister riddle... Riddle-R. Riddler!
Commissioner Gordon: A thought strikes me... So dreadful I scarcely dare give it utterance...
Batman: The four of them... Their forces combined...
Robin: Holy nightmare!

Batman: They may be drinkers, Robin, but they're still human beings.

Going to say Batman (1989) its just pure magic :D. Batman Returns is not as good as the 1989 movie but hey never liked Catwomen. And Batman Forever is just Jim Carry being.... Jim Carry. Two-Face says like 2 things in the movie, Carry steals the movie.... and Two-Face is my favorite :'(. And Batman and Robin just sucks.......

And i dont really like Batman Begins... Anotherone of my favorite The Scarecorw is in it and hes on screen for like 5 min :/. And i love The dark Knight, tho i like Jack more the Heath :D
