First, I would like to congratulate myself on my second newspost. My first one was erased in the first timewarp, so you could, I guess, call this my other first newspost. Or else it could be that whenever I make a newspost, something explodes. Because I'm that awesome.
Now, down to business.
Some of us will be appearing at Nekocon! You know, the first con we were ever at? The one that was a living hell for the people who went? So bad that they tend to ignore that and call 2008 the year they first started going to cons? Yes. That Nekocon. No, I will not be one of them, sorry. I know you will miss me, but sadly, I cannot afford to go. Instead, I have an alternative! You can meet Ren! But you don't care. You all want to see her ass. We all know it. Don't try to hide it, everyone wants to. It is nothing to be ashamed of. Also appearing will be ReconDye. Unfortunately, there is nothing interesting to say about him. Besides that he makes a comic. Also, Kyle and Para, AKA the Con Squad will be there. And that's about all the people who are worth meeting that will be going. Though you may get to meet some uninteresting people as well.
There will be a panel, screening, and a booth! So if you're in the general vicinity, please, stop by!
Also, if you have a camera, and you are at Nekocon, we need more shots of Ren's Ass. Rumor has it that someone will pay a good bounty for a picture. Rumor also has it that there is a very interested party looking for pictures of Ren's Boobs. So you may get extra stuff. All pictures submitted must be made public. Payment is not guaranteed. It is merely rumor that may or may not be based on fact. But we still want these pictures. |

We, the undersigned, do demand that the flying unicorn that has plagued this forum for quite a while be taken down. This is not Happy Flying Unicorn The Abridged Series. This is the Yu-Gi-Oh! The Abridged Series. Unicorns have no place flying around these forums, and this is an absolute outrage!
Instead, we ask for the most appropriate alternative:
A flying Ren's Ass. Ren's Ass is the symbol of YGOTAS, and shows just what the forum staff has to offer. More then that, it is the best the forum staff has to offer. All newcomers should be aware of it, and it is joyous and uplifting to behold. Everyone deserves to see this.
We will not tolerate this obscenity. We demand action, and we demand it now.

| #9 Posted 2 months ago in All 28 Godzilla movies...In HD. | | Exactly. So, apparently I've not paying good attention to Godzilla news recently, as I've just found an article, almost a month old, that reports that all 28 movies have been remade in HD.

Now, much as I love this, I do not actually own an HDTV. Nor, in fact, can I find any release information for these as DVDs anywhere. This rather upsets me, as I would love to have these, regardless of whether or not I have an HDTV. |

| #7 Posted 1 year ago in Extra rules for this forum - Please read. | | Alright, well, this forum is meant for general discussion, that is, all serious discussion people may have. And such a forum would probably open up to debate topics. And debates generally lead to someone flaming another. While the regular forum rules also apply here, I think a special topic dedicated to debates is appropriate. I have no qualms with debates. I have qualms with what they turn into. So, I'll post a few little notices here as to what a debate is and how to participate in them without turning them into a flame war.
1) First and foremost, everyone has an opinion. Your opinion is no better than anyone else's. Don't act as if it is. Be respectful of the opinions of others. That doesn't mean agreeing with them, but it does mean not to insult them for their opinions.
2) Second, flaming is a personal attack of another user. Don't do it.
3) Third, opinions are naturally going to have holes poked into them by others. That doesn't mean that that's flaming. Likewise, disagreeing with another person is not flaming.
4) Fourth, we all know that using a past personal experience is common with debates. But likewise, so is criticizing those events. This criticism isn't necessarily a flame. Remember, a flame is a personal attack, and generally insulting another user. Not criticism.
5) Fifth, if it is believed that a post is a flame, do not post in the topic saying "You flamed him/her/me/my dog!" Instead, a PM with a direct link to the offending post, and not just the topic it was in, should be sent to a moderator for review. If it really is a flame, it will be dealt with.
Please follow these guidelines when participating in debates. Failure to do so can result in a suspension/ban at a moderator's discretion, length varying on a case-by-case basis. |

| #6 Posted 1 year ago in Addressing complaints about content of posts. | | Alright, I'm certain we're all aware of recent events; how Dix made a newspost about Halo, the complaints that it was not Yu-Gi-Oh related, and that the content of recent posts in the News section should be Yu-Gi-Oh related. Well, here's something you all need to read.
This site is not, and never will be, restricted to Yu-Gi-Oh, or YGOTAS content.
Look, the site was built around Yu-Gi-Oh: The Abridged Series, we all know that. However, it was not built to be exclusively about either Yu-Gi-Oh or YGOTAS. Evidence of this can be found in the subforums themselves. Do you see that there are multiple kinds of subforums with multiple kinds of subject matter? Yeah, exactly. That alone should tell you that this site is not restricted to the content of Yu-Gi-Oh.
The complaints have got to stop. The target audience of this site is not the Yu-Gi-Oh fanbase. It is instead, rather, for people who like Yu-Gi-Oh TAS to gather and have general discussion. There are people here who are fans of both series, there are people here who are fans of TAS alone. There are even people here who aren't a fan of either, have only seen a few episodes, and are here merely to socialize.
So, I'm making this topic to say this: Stop complaining about content not being 100% Yu-Gi-Oh related. Administrative action is going to start being given if the complaints keep coming. This is not open to public discussion/debate. This is a general notice to all users warning of the consequences if this keeps up, and an explanation as to what the site is really here for. |
